JULY 28, 2018 | BACK2SCHOOL CELEBRATION
ORH, Inc. is glad to report that we were able to successfully serve 363 students with backpacks, school supplies, meals, gift card vouchers, educational books and more. We were also able to send 40 backpacks to our partners in Delhi, India that operate an orphanage there. In addition, one local teacher received supplies, a boy's mentorship group and a young girls academic club. Due to the help of our partners locally and nationally, we were able to not only reach our goal for this event, but to allocate a few items to distribute throughout the year as a need/opportunity presents itself. MAY 2017 | CITY COMMUNITY CENTER RENOVATION PROJECT LAUNCHED
We excited to announce the launching of our plans to renovated a building gifted to us by The City of Restoration. This almost 7k sq ft space will host an event center, food pantry, clothing bank, workshops, etc. The scope of the work to be performed entails: roof replacement, air conditioning replacement, complete bathroom renovations, ceiling tiles and insulation replacement, electrical and lighting upgrades, interior and exterior painting, interior wall repairs, flooring repairs, landscaping and parking lot improvements. The scope of work will cost around $75k to complete phase one, which will allow for us to open and begin operations.
