MEET DR. ONEIL SALMON
FOUNDER & LEAD PASTOR OF THE CITY OF RESTORATION
Apostle ONeil Salmon, also known as “Apostle O,” is deeply committed to empowering the Body of Christ through the practical and relevant application of the Word of God. With a unique blend of humor and profound insight, he brings the transformative message of the gospel of Jesus Christ to the forefront of contemporary Kingdom-focused individuals, transcending traditional church paradigms.
His teachings, primarily aimed at leadership, resonate deeply with believers across all walks of life. Apostle O emphasizes authenticity, stating, “If it’s going to be relevant, it’s got to be real,” striving to lead by example with transparency before both God and humanity.
In partnership with his wife and best friend, Lady Georgia Salmon, since October 1999, Apostle O shares not only the stage but also the responsibilities of their burgeoning ministry. Together, they raise two sons, Joshua and Timothy, embodying the principle that "ministry begins at home."
Apostle O is dedicated to continual personal growth and facilitating opportunities for the development of others. Through his fearless and straightforward delivery of biblical truths, he endeavors to liberate fellow church leaders from the constraints of formalism devoid of foundational substance. Addressing challenges faced by local churches, he offers insightful and solution-oriented responses to issues of social inequality and political injustice, always with cultural sensitivity.
An accomplished author, Apostle O penned "Leadership Fun-For-Mentals," a comprehensive resource for pastors, ministers, and leaders, and serves as the originator and producer of the Fun-For-Mentals Book Series.
Currently leading a thriving ministry in the Tampa Bay Area at The City of Restoration, founded in April 2006, Apostle O is also the visionary behind Christian Ministry Partnership. This organization provides spiritual mentorship, covering, and ministry development to both traditional and nontraditional ministries, all in service of advancing the Kingdom.
With spiritual sons and daughters established locally, nationally, and internationally, Apostle O extends his mentorship to works in India and Kenya, Africa, embodying his commitment to global Kingdom expansion.
Above all, Apostle O emphasizes humility and teachability within the Body of Christ, driven by the biblical mandate of fathering and the desire to eradicate the curse of ignorance. He remains deeply grateful for his journey yet maintains an unwavering focus on pressing forward, echoing the words of the Apostle Paul: “Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before. I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 3:13-14).
