50 Families Receive Groceries

In the midst of being quarantined, The City acknowledges the fact that many families are struggling to place food on their tables. Therefore, an initiative to feed at least 50 families from the local community was launched. Each family received 2 bags of fruits, vegetables, rice, snacks and a variation of meats. This was provided free of cost with no obligations to those in need. Through the power of social media, using the Nextdoor App, texting and word of mouth, we were able to successfully serve 50+ families in 3 hours.
